Dental care is unfortunately one of the most overlooked health issues that pet owners concern themselves with. As in humans, plaque bacteria constantly forms in the mouth of all cats and dogs. Once plaque has calcified into tartar it can no longer be brushed off. In many cases it has to be removed by a vet using ultrasound and anaesthetic.
If tartar build-up is left untreated it can result in bad breath, gum disease, tooth decay and premature tooth loss. Tartar that is allowed to remain for too long can also cause infections that can spread throughout the body and damage the heart, lung, liver and negatively affect kidney functions.
Since daily brushing of your cat or dog’s teeth can be difficult to achieve, ProDen PlaqueOff®Animal provides an easy solution to improving your pet’s oral hygiene.
An internationally patented and clinically tested product, Pro Den Plaque Off Animal fights tartar and plaque on tooth surfaces and reduces bacterial presence. The active element in PlaqueOff Animal is a specially selected seaweed, Ascophyllum nodosum, harvested from the clean and cold seas of Norway and Iceland. A 100% all natural product, ProDen PlaqueOff® Animal is free from artificial colours and preservatives and contains no gluten or sugar.
Unlike most other plaque control products that are applied directly on the teeth, PlaqueOff Animal works systematically and comes in powder that is sprinkled on your pet’s food. When the ingredients are absorbed into the blood via the digestion and enters the saliva, they effectively prevent accumulation of plaque by affecting the ability of plaque to ‘stick’ to surfaces in the mouth. Existing tartar becomes porous, looses by itself or can be easily removed by brushing or cleaning.
